What Will Trivikram Do Now?

Star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas who is hailed as a wizard of words has a habit of casting two heroines in his films. He brought in Pranitha though Samantha was the main heroine in ‘Attarintiki Daredi’. Adah Sharma and Nithya Menon were there other heroines in ‘S/o Satyamurthy’. Anupama Parameswaran was the second heroine in ‘A Aa’. Even his disaster movie ‘Agnyathavaasi’ had two heroines like Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy Suresh. Coming to ‘Aravinda Sametha’, Eesha Rebba was the second heroine while ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ had Nivetha Pethuraj.

One common thing is that most of his second heroines do not have substantial roles. These characters do not give any boost to their careers which is the reason why he is finding it tough to get a second heroine for his next project.

As we know, he is all set to finalise his script for Mahesh’s film. After returning from abroad, Mahesh will be eager to start the shoot and Trivikram is reportedly looking to finalise the cast by then. There were reports that he approached young beauty Sreeleela who mesmerized Telugu youth with her glamour in ‘Pelli SandaD’. There were also rumours about holding talks with ‘Bheemla Nayak’ heroine Samyuktha Menon. Nothing has been confirmed as of now. The latest rumours claim that Trivikram is eyeing on bringing ‘Gang Leader’ fame Priyanka Arul Mohan on board for this project as the second heroine. The cute actress did Nani’s film and Sharwa’s ‘Sreekaram’ which were not commercial successes. Though she gained a very good craze in Tamil with ‘Doctor’ and ‘Don’, she is still looking for her big break in Tollywood. Let us wait and see if she becomes a part of Mahesh-Trivikram film or not.

Glamorous girl Pooja Hegde is the main heroine in this project. There will be a lot of big artists in this film which is being bankrolled by the ‘Haarika & Hassine Creations’ banner. Thaman will be composing the music while PS Vinod is the cinematographer. This is the third film in the Mahesh-Trivikram combo after classics like ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’. Let us wait and see if this project lives up to the standards set by their previous two films or not.
