Thanks to the timely intervention of Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the strike called by Cine workers has been called off in just two days. If not for his intervention, the issue would have been worse. No just that, he even formed a special committee to look into the matter.
Ace producer Dil Raju was made the head of the committee to see that the issues are addressed at the earliest. Dil Raju spoke to the media on the issue and said that talks are underway between both parties and that what decision they took will be made public so that everyone knows.
Though the employees are happy that their long-pending demand for a hike in salaries will be addressed, putting an end to the issue is the need of the hour for the producers as the industry cannot face another crisis as it already faced a big crisis with the Covid.
Due to the two-day-long protests of the workers, more than a dozen shootings were halted, including big films. If the same would have continued, then the losses would be high which the industry can bear.
Though the industry and film workers both will be happy with the positive outcome that comes with the decision taken by the committee, it will be more happy news for the industry as it will avoid the possible big trouble in the form of a strike from cine workers.
