Baahubali is a game-changer in many ways. The SS Rajamouli’s directorial has shown the world the potential of Telugu cinema. Maverick director Rjamouli who started the trend of Pan-India gave a strong message to the southern film industries that a good story can be told to the whole nation.

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali has completed seven years of its release. Part one of the franchise, Baahubali: The Beginning was released in 2015. The Pan-India film gave an unmatchable craze and stardom to Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tammanah, and the other cast.

Jakkanna Rajamouli redefined the filmmaking process with Baahubali. Before Baahubali, we did not have big budgets like how the Prabhas starrer had. Rajamouli created his magic on the silver screen with his filmmaking and the VFX artists helped him in this process.

Rajamouli who established himself as the master storyteller in Telugu attracted everyone’s attention with his craftsmanship with Baahubali. The breathtaking action consequences and the stunning visuals are on par with the Holywood films. Rajamouli brought the visual grandeur we see in western films to India with the high-ticket film Baahubali.

The success of Baahubali was at a level that noted Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson, expressed his wish to act in the franchise if given a chance. While promoting the Avengers film in India, the actor said, he was impressed by the film.

After scoring a big success at the box office, Baahubali showed its impact on the OTTs as well. Baahubali still gets decent TRPs when it gets aired on television. The place where Baahubali was shot became a big tourist place in Ramoji Film City. The Baahubali set sees good footfalls even today.

Baahubali made Prabhas the biggest Pan-India. He became the darling of movie lovers and fans in the northern belt. The interesting fact is that Baahubali was made in Telugu and the makers had no intention of going for Pan-India. Things changed massively after Rana invited Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar to watch the film.

Karan Johar pushed Baahubali in a way that it went on to become the highest-earning film of that time. Not just in the domestic market, Baahubali also set the box office on fire overseas including in the dragon nation China.
