Versatile actress Ramya Krishnan who ruled the hearts of youth a few decades back is one of the most sought after character artists in South India right now. She is a phenomenal performer and proved it time and again through movies like ‘Narasimha’, ‘Baahubali’, ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and many more.
After a long time, she is working with her husband Krishna Vamsi for a movie titled ‘Rangamarthanda’. The actress already dubbed for her part in the movie and Krishna Vamsi is hoping to make a comeback with this film which is a remake of the Marathi film ‘Nata Samrat’. The team released a video recently where Megastar Chiranjeevi gave his voice for a description of an ‘Actor’.
Now, the makers introduced the character of Ramya Krishnan. She is playing the role of ‘Raju gaaru’ in this movie and looks like very homely in her traditional look. Produced by Houseful Movies and Rajashyamala Entertainments banners, Krishna Vamsi confirmed it as a story about all mothers and fathers. Legendary music composer Ilayaraja is working on this project while the late Sirivennela Seetharamasastry had penned the lyrics.
Versatile actor Prakash Raj is playing the lead role. Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing a small role too. This movie is reportedly a remake of the Marathi film ‘Nata Samrat’ which has Nana Patekar playing the lead role. Krishna Vamsi who was once a top director in Tollywood has been struggling to make successful films over the past decade. He took a long gap after ‘Nakshatram’ and he is coming back now.
