Featuring young actors, Suhas, Venkatesh Maha, Tharun Bhascker, Bindhu Madhavi, Madonna Sebastian, Ravindra Vijay, Phani Acharya and others in the lead roles, Anger Tales is set for its premiere on Disney+ Hotstar soon. The pre-release event of the 4-episode web series was held last night in Hyderabad and had the team and a few special guests in attendance.
Writer and executive director of the show Karthikeya said the series offers something new to the audience and that they had to go through quite a lot of tough times in the process of making it. He was confident about the script connecting with all sections of audience.
Music director Smaran Sai thanked the producers for the offer and added the series has something for everyone and it is sure to strike a chord with the Telugu OTT crowd.
Actor Phani Acharya said he dreamed of becoming a capable actor and is now delighted to realize the same with Anger Tales that will release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 9.
Venkatesh Maha said he plays a character with great depth in this series and he feels delighted to be a part of it. “I okayed the script just after 2 minutes narration. Disney+ Hotstar should be appreciated for doing a series like this and for marketing it in such a way to ensure such a reach. I’d like to thank director Nithin and producer Sridhar for the chance to work on the series.”
Bindu Madhavi said she has made good friends while working on the series and stated that the content-backed series banks on excellent performances from the cast and excellent narrative.
Director Sandeep Raj, who came to support the team, shared that the team of Anger Tales is very close to him as they all started their journey together. He shared that he loved the series and termed Anger Tales as the best Telugu web series ever.
Producer Sharath Chandra said the team put their heart and soul into the making of the series and congratulated the whole team for their collaborative efforts.
The show’s director Prabhala Tilak thanked everyone for their support in the making of this series. He added that this series is unlike other anthologies and it will keep the audience engaged from the start till the very end.
Suhas said the series is far superior in terms of technical finesse and visual composition in comparison to many shows in the same genre. He added that many people associated with the series pooled in the funds for the production and thanked director Nithin for exceeding their expectations in making the series.
Anger Tales is an anthology of 4 episodes that releases March 9 on Disney+ Hotstar.
