Dil Raju is a name that needs no introduction. The star producer and distributor who recently completed his 20 years of journey in Tollywood is trying to expand his business. He is venturing into other film industries as well. He co-produced ‘Jersey’ and ‘HIT’ in Bollywood which did not have the desired result. But he has another project in line now.
He is also the producing Tamil movies lately. He bankrolled ‘Varisu’ starring Thalapathy Vijay and it turned out to be a huge hit this Sankranti season. He is also making pan-Indian flicks and the first one is ‘Game Changer’ with Ram Charan in the lead and Shankar as the director. The latest we hear from tinsel town is that Vamsi Paidipally and Dil Raju are all set to work on another Tamil project and it is going to have Vijay playing the lead role once again.
Apparently, the star producer has locked Rajni’s dates too and this project will be taking off in the next few months. The details regarding the movie’s director and other technicians are expected to be revealed soon. It looks like Dil Raju is going big in Kollywood lately.
Coming back to ‘Jailer’, Kalanithi Maran is bankrolling this project under the Sun Pictures banner and Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer. R Nirmal is the editor and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar will be playing a key role in this movie along with actors like Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Tamannaah, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu. Nelson Dilip Kumar is the director while Anirudh is composing the music.
