‘Custody’ Trailer: Engaging & Enthralling Story Of A Cop!

Young and handsome Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya has teamed up with top Tamil director Venkat Prabhu for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual flick titled ‘Custody’. The movie is coming out on 12th May and the promotions have already begun. The two songs and teaser generated a very good buzz on the movie and knowing Venkat Prabhu, we can expect something different from him as always. The much-awaited theatrical trailer came out just now and it looks very engaging and enthralling.

The trailer starts off by introducing us to the hero’s character who doesn’t mind stopping Chief Minister’s car if needed. He is a constable who abides by the law. His love life is in trouble as the heroine is about to get married to another guy. We are then introduced to various characters in the movie including a wicked criminal played by Aravinda Swamy. How he produces him before the court despite all the hurdles and obstacles throughout his journey makes for a compelling watch.

The trailer is edited in a wonderful manner. Naga Chaitanya fits perfectly into this role of an underdog who fights against powerful people in society. He looked absolutely convincing and did a wonderful job going by the trailer. Krithi Shetty is the heroine and it looks like she got a meaty role too. Aravind Swamy, Sampath, Priyamani and others make their presence felt. The screenplay is very important for these kinds of films and it looks like Venkat Prabhu has a winner in his hands. The chase sequences look great in the trailer and the expectations over this film have definitely doubled now.

SR Kathir’s camera work is exceptional, while the background score by Maestro Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja is the biggest asset. Editing by Venkat Raajen deserves a special mention. Rajeevan is the production designer and DY Satyanarayana is the art director. The rest of the cast includes Premgi Amaren, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath and many other notable actors. Let us wait and see if the movie matches up to its impressive trailer or not.
