Controversial actress Kangana Ranaut recently took to Instagram to express her criticisms of director Karan Johar and his latest movie, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” She questioned the need for a massive budget of 250 crores, comparing the film’s content to lengthy Indian TV serials and labeling it as repetitive storytelling.
Kangana urged Karan Johar to step aside and allow young filmmakers to bring fresh and revolutionary ideas to the forefront. In addition to her critique of the film, Kangana also addressed actor Ranveer Singh, urging him to distance himself from Karan Johar’s fashion choices.
She called for a more respectable and masculine appearance akin to that of South Indian heroes, emphasizing the need to preserve cultural integrity and dignity in India.
Despite a mediocre start, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, showed improvement on its second day. The movie is projected to make approximately Rs. 45 crore during its first weekend, which falls within a moderate range – not exceptional, yet not disappointing either.
Kangana’s remarks have sparked discussions within the entertainment industry, and her comments on Karan Johar’s filmmaking approach and Ranveer Singh’s fashion choices continue to be subjects of debate among fans and industry professionals alike.
