A lot of rumors have been going around regarding the story of Megastar’s next film after ‘Bholaa Shankar’. While it has been confirmed that Kalyan Krishna Kurasala is the director and Prasanna Kumar Bezawada is the story writer, there have been speculations that the movie is an adaptation of the Malayalam hit movie ‘Bro Daddy’ starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.
The team of #Mega156 has officially confirmed that their film is not a remake of ‘Bro Daddy’ and revealed that the script work is still going on. While the remake of the Malayalam flick was originally planned with Nagarjuna and Akhil as the lead, those plans have been shelved. With the news arriving that Sharwanand will be a part of Chiranjeevi’s next flick, many assumed that it is a remake of ‘Bro Daddy’ and it is not the case.
The main cast and crew are yet to be finalized and those details will come out once Chiranjeevi is done with the release of ‘Bholaa Shankar’. This commercial entertainer is hitting the screens worldwide on 11th August and there are high expectations on it. It is the remake of ‘Vedalam’ while ‘Godfather’ is the remake of ‘Lucifer’. With Chiru doing three remakes out of six films he did since the comeback, his fans were not happy with the rumors about #Mega156 being the remake of ‘Bro Daddy’. But the update from the movie’s unit will definitely make them happy.
