Lokesh Kanagaraj who turned into a star director in Kollywood just with a few films has earned a huge fanbase. Movies like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’ showcase his potential and he created a separate universe named ‘Lokesh Cinematic Universe’ where his own film characters team up when needed. With ‘Leo’ all set to release this weekend, there is a lot of talk going on about his next projects.
The director himself announced that ‘Leo’ is a standalone picture and is not part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe. As we know, he is working with superstar Rajnikanth soon and the star cast has also been announced. There are reports suggesting that it will also be a standalone project. Lokesh has been talking a lot about his movie with Prabhas as well. He confirmed that there will be an action drama with Prabhas, we are yet to know if it is a part of his cinematic universe or not.
While some say that Lokesh’s film with Prabhas is going to be the last film in ‘LCU’ like the Endgame for the Avengers, there are also some who suggest that is not a part of his cinematic universe. While movies like ‘Khaidi 2’, ‘Rolex’, ‘Vikram 2’ and a possible movie with Ram Charan are going to delight the fans as a part of movies from the same universe. Let us wait and see what happens.
Coming to ‘Leo’, Lokesh is working with Vijay once again after ‘Master’. Trisha is the female lead in this flick while Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja play negative roles. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for this massive project. There are few who suggest that it is highly inspired by Hollywood from ‘A History of Violence’.
