Director Prashant Varma’s superhero film “Hanu-Man” has become a major box office success, crossing the 300-crore mark. This achievement is even more noteworthy considering the film’s initial conception as a smaller project.
Riding the wave of popularity, Varma has announced the sequel, “Jai Hanuman,” promising an even grander scale and cast. This announcement naturally sparked speculation about who would portray the titular character, with prominent names like Ranveer Singh and KGF’s Yash being thrown around.
However, Yash’s team has stepped in to clarify that the actor is not currently considering the role. His focus remains on his upcoming project, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups,” directed by Geetu Mohandas.
Therefore, the casting for “Jai Hanuman” remains under wraps, and the rumors surrounding Yash’s involvement have been officially debunked.
While fans wait for news on the sequel’s cast, they can enjoy the original “Hanu-Man” on the OTT platform Zee5, slated for release on March 2nd, 2024.
