Renowned astrologer Venu Swamy has once again found himself at the center of controversy following his prediction about the future of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s relationship. Known for his celebrity horoscopes, Swamy has a history of making predictions that have often been met with criticism due to their inaccuracy.
In his latest prediction, Swamy claimed that the newly engaged couple, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, would soon part ways. This statement, made shortly after their engagement announcement, sparked outrage and condemnation from the public.
The Telugu Film Journalist Association and the Telugu Film Digital Media Association took strong objection to Swamy’s prediction, deeming it irresponsible and harmful. They filed a formal complaint against the astrologer with the Telangana State Women’s Commission, seeking action against him and the broadcaster who aired his comments.
The chairperson of the Telangana State Women’s Commission, Nerella Sharada, assured that the commission would take appropriate measures against Venu Swamy. She emphasized that the astrologer would be summoned to provide an explanation for his prediction.
This is not the first time Swamy has faced backlash for his predictions about Naga Chaitanya’s personal life. Previously, he had incorrectly predicted the end of the actor’s marriage to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The repeated instances of inaccurate predictions have raised concerns about the impact of such statements on individuals and their personal lives.
