Renowned Telugu actor Dr. Naresh Vijayakrishna commemorated a momentous milestone in his illustrious career with a grand golden jubilee celebration on August 11th, 2024. Marking five decades of contribution to the Telugu film industry, the event was a star-studded affair held at his newly inaugurated countryside residence in Chilkur.
The celebration was a confluence of glamour and reverence, with the inauguration of the VIJAYAKRISHNA MANDHIR & GHATTAMANENI INDIRA DEVI SPOORTHI VANAM (Inspiration Park) serving as a focal point. This dedicated space, envisioned as a tribute to cinematic legends, was inaugurated by Justice Smt. Surepalli Nanda of the Telangana High Court, who lauded the initiative as a bridge between generations.
The event was graced by a galaxy of stars, including Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon, Jayasudha, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Kushboo, among others. Naresh Vijayakrishna expressed his vision for the park as a nurturing ground for aspiring filmmakers, with plans to enrich it with a film library and museum.
The evening unfolded with a meet-and-greet session honoring Naresh Vijayakrishna, Pavithra Lokesh, and Jayasudha, organized by the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA). The presence of prominent figures like Sai Dharam Tej, Manoj Manchu, and director Maruthi added to the event’s grandeur. A screening of the internationally acclaimed film “Sathya,” which garnered 26 awards, brought the curtains down on a memorable evening.
