A Call From Home Ministry To AP Officials!

In the backdrop of growing political ruckus over ‘AP Special Status’, the Central Ministry for Home has called for a meeting with chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh on 23rd February to discuss on reorganization act implementations, Vishakhapatnam railway zone, budged deficit, steel plant in Kadapa, Dugarajapatnam port and bifurcation of schedule IX and X institutions. Earlier in the day, BJP’s partner and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave the deadline to Centre to make a convincing announcement for the state of Andhra Pradesh before the beginning of upcoming parliament sessions on March 5th. Also, he warned of launching serious protests if no such declaration in made in favor of state. After this call from Central Home Ministry, the state officials are hoping for a positive statement from the union government. Chief Secretary of Telangana state was also asked to attend this meeting in New Delhi.

On other hand, Andhra Pradesh opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan challenged each other over moving a no-confidence motion against NDA government. While Jagan dared Pawan to convince his partner Babu to either support their MPs or directly move no-confidence motion, Jana Sena Chief took up the challenge and offered to build the needed support from other parties, if YSRCP dares to introduce the no-confidence motion in the parliament.
