The world of Tollywood cinema is known for its larger-than-life personalities and their unique star tags. From Chiranjeevi’s “Megastar” to Prabhas’ “Rebel Star,” these titles hold weight among fans and industry insiders alike.
In this context, actor Sudheer Babu is poised for a change with his upcoming film “Harom Hara.” While previously known as the “Nitro Star,” Babu is set to embrace a new title – “Yuva Thalapathy.”
The decision to bestow this new tag upon Babu comes from the film’s director, Gnanasagar Dwaraka. “Thalapathy,” typically associated with Tamil actor Vijay, is now prefixed with “Yuva” (meaning “young”) to create a distinct identity for Sudheer Babu. The success of “Harom Hara” is expected to solidify this new moniker.
Directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka and produced by Sumanth G Naidu under the banner of Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas, “Harom Hara” features Malvika Sharma as the leading lady alongside Sudheer Babu. Sunil plays a pivotal role, adding further weight to the cast. Set in 1989 against the backdrop of Kuppam in the Chittoor district, the film carries the tagline “The Revolt,” hinting at an action-packed narrative. Sudheer Babu reportedly underwent a physical transformation for the role and will be seen speaking Kuppam slang, adding a layer of authenticity.
Aravind Vishwanathan handles cinematography, while Chaitan Bharadwaj composes the music. Ramesh Kumar G serves as the presenter, with Raviteja Girijala taking care of editing. The film is scheduled for release on June 14th, 2024.
With a new title and a promising film on the horizon, Sudheer Babu’s career seems to be taking an exciting turn. Whether “Yuva Thalapathy” resonates with fans and industry remains to be seen, but “Harom Hara” undoubtedly has the potential to be a significant stepping stone for the actor.
