Telugu filmmaker Maruthi has come up with an interesting title – ‘Aakali Rajyamlo Anthuleni Katha’ by merging two classics made by late legendary director K Balachander.
‘Anthuleni Katha’ starring Jayaprada, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and ‘Aakali Rajyam’ starring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi are two of the iconic films made by Balachander. The films are still regarded as classics by film lovers.
Maruthi has somehow come up with the idea of merging the titles of these two classics and conceived the title of his new production venture, ‘Aakali Rajyamlo Anthuleni Katha’. Murali of ‘Rojulu Narayi’ fame is directing this coming-of-age comedy while Maruthi is serving only as producer.
Since the film has debutantes in lead role, Maruthi and his director may have come up with this interesting title to attract audiences’ attention.
