The question of who will replace late Actor-director Dasari Narayana Rao as the head of the Industry head, a long-lasting topic once again became a highly-debatable issue with the infamous Andhra Pradesh movie tickets issue. Megastar Chiranjeevi, who gave hope of filling the responsible position had rescued himself from taking the post.
The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy actor who recently distributed health cards to a few cine workers made sensational comments at the event. He said that he is not the head of the industry, but he will come forward to help the industry when requires.
His comments gave birth to another discussion on who will fit the Industry head post. As a further development in the issue, Senior hero Mohan Babu released a note saying that collective effort is required to address the issue as the industry is not about only four heroes and producers.
Now another senior hero Suman joined the force and reacted to the issue. Addressing the media in the temple city Tirupati, Suman rubbished the opinion that the industry lacks unity. Giving his take on addressing the issue, Suman said that there are senior members like Krishna, Krishnam Raju, and Murali Mohan.
There is nothing to worry about the issue. Every state has some or the other issue. The issue popped up after the pandemic. It’s not good to hand over the responsibility to one person. To sort out the issues, we should take the suggestions and inputs from the senior members. Talks should be held with the government, he maintained.
At the time when the industry is facing issues, a few people are making comments which is not good. The industry had started to grow after the pandemic impact. There are two states now and different governments. There is no rule that two governments should deal with the issue in a similar way, the actor said.
I disagree with the opinion that there is no unity in the industry. It’s been 44 years since I entered the industry. In total, I have acted in 600 films across ten languages. I am here with my hard work. We should seek inputs from the senior members, he added.
