The habit of bridging heroes from other languages such that a film will get a peppy colour is something that dates back to ages. Even the films that are shot in the 80s have heroes from Tamilnadu doing cameos in Telugu movies. And it looks like, the custom is going to continue for long.
One of the most talked-about cameos in recent times is none other than Kannada superstar Upendra’s special role in Allu Arjun’s S/o Satyamurthy movie. That role not only marked his comeback to Telugu films, but also showcased the potential a star hero from another tinsel town could bring to a film. After he excelled as Devraj in that movie, the talented actor-director never picked big Telugu movies.
The latest update is that another mega hero, Varun Tej is now approaching Upendra to play a special role in his upcoming film. For the upcoming movie Boxer, they are said to be in need of a star hero’s cameo and already talks are going on with Upendra regarding the same. Will the Kannada superstar agrees to do the role? Let’s see.
Directed by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, Boxer features Varun Tej in the role of a kick boxer for which he trained in the USA and in Mumbai as well.
