Clearing all the doubts and airs, Bharatiya Janata Party had once again proved that Uttar Pradesh is its strong turf. The recent general elections is also a memorable one for the party as after more than 30 years, a Chief Minister had formed the government for the second consecutive term.
The oath-taking ceremony was held in Uttar Pradesh and was attended by big dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, and other key leaders.
The famous Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium was fully decked up for the occasion as massive arrangements for the same. The BJP supporters and party activists were seen in big numbers holding saffron shawls.
Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath ceremony and Yogi took oath as the Chief Minister. KP Maurya and Brajesh Pathak have been sworn in as the deputies of Yogi Adityanath. Along with them, the Cabinet Ministers also took oath today.
Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Anil Rajbhar, Jitin Prasada, Rakesh Sachan, Arvind Kumar Sharma, Yogendra Upadhyaya, Ashish Patel, and Sanjay Nishad are some of the Cabinet Ministers who found spots in the new cabinet. Many Ministers in the previous Cabinet were not repeated to give chances to the other leaders.
