After Kammula’s Love Story, Nani’s V Gets Postponed

Slowly and steadily, the number of cases related to the novel coronavirus are increasing in India. Last week a Google employee from Bangalore tested positive and then his wife escaped to Delhi in a flight and went to hometown Agra by train. And now, she got tested positive. If health officials are to be believed, at least a few people who travelled in the same flight that of the lady might have easily contracted the virus.

In the wake of these happenings, even Telugu filmmakers are getting scared whether the situation will turn worst in the upcoming days. For that reason, they have decided to not release their movies as crores of rupees will be at loss just in case if the government decides to shut down theatres or audience fear to come to theatres owing to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Other day, the team of ‘Love Story’, directed by Sekhar Kammula, has clarified that they will target a late April or May release. And today, Nani’s V team has announced that they are not coming on March 25th as expected, but will come down at a later point of time in April. The new dates are not yet announced by any team.

While small movies are trying to release their movies and cash the no-competition season, big movies are not ready to take a risk for the now.
