It is a known fact that the ruling YSRCP and opposition Telugu Desam Party have been fighting over the freebies and welfare schemes in the state. While the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is not showing any intention of stopping the welfare schemes, the opposition is expressing its concerns.
The grand old Telugu Desam Party has been attacking the government saying that freebies can leave a toll on the state economy and urged the government to not take forward the freebies keeping the financial situation of the state in mind.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh government is also sending indications that no matter what, the freebies will not be stopped. Not just that, the government is highlighting how it is continuing the welfare schemes despite facing issues with the Covid and other developments.
Again and again, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is trying to prove how it is continuing the welfare schemes and also trying to prove a point that how the Telugu Desam Party would cancel the schemes by stating reasons.
The other day, CM Jagan had said that the opposition parties and a section of media are creating a scene when he is continuing the welfare schemes. He even alleged that they are filing cases to stop the welfare schemes as he is getting a good name among the masses and voters.
To take forward the narrative, an MLA had voiced what the government wants to say. Pendurthi MLA Adeep Raju was also present at a public meeting that was attended by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The MLA said that the Covid pandemic left a big tool on us and we have tpo understand that we all are going through a rough pace. By mimicking Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the MLA said how CBN would have canceled the welfare scheme if he would have been the CM.
Hearing the mimicking of CBN, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy laughed his heart out. Many experts feel that the Gover wants to say the same thing about the welfare schemes.
