If something is going viral on social media these days, somehow its roots are being found in media managed web pages and other publishing sites. Similarly, the other day it went viral when a news bombarded that 1-minute footage of Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavasi got leaked.
So what is the pretty reality behind it? Actually 1-minute video of Pawan Kalyan entering the main-gate of Amazon, Hyderabad surfaced on the internet. When director Trivikram is actually shooting an episode where Pawan enters the office by flashing his ID card while other employees are in queues, someone recorded it from a high elevation.
As this video started doing rounds on Twitter and Facebook, people started adding the tag of ‘leakage’ to it. With TRP hungry media folks calling this as a ‘leaked footage’, it went much viral. In reality, that is just an on-location video which is exciting fans to a newer level. But with Attarintidi Daredi facing some piracy trouble earlier, people smelled something bad for #Agnathavasi as well. There is nothing such, however.
Rather than just airing/publishing news, if ‘selling’ news becomes a job, then definitely these types of publicity-hungry headlines and ideas creep up.
