However, some of the of shows like ‘SIN’ are facing unnecessary flak with a small percent of media about the bold content that is being showcased on their apps.
Speaking about the same, Telugu APP ‘Aha’ people said, “As an entertainment platform, we aim to tell all sorts of stories. Alongside entertaining we want to engage the audience in meaningful conversations that will lead to minor if not major reforms”.
Sin is a show that deals with the issue of marital abuse which is an unspoken crime.
It has been reported that 1 in 3 women in India undergo marital rape and they have no way out except dealing with it. Such abuse can be normalised for impressionable children who witness it often in their homes and this is something which we stand against.
Having said that, people from AHA also reminded that they have parental control as an option and viewers can always ensure underage kids do not come across this content.
