The release dates which were announced during the start of this year completely went into the trash due to the lockdown. Now, the filmmakers are coming up with new release dates and producers are trying to release their films as soon as they can before the rumored third wave strikes.
If the latest news has anything to believe, the Akkineni brothers are all set to lock horns with each other during August. Akhil has been waiting to release his romantic comedy ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ for a long time. If things went as planned, this film would have released during the summer of 2020 but it got postponed due to the virus. They thought of coming in June of 2021 but with the changed equations, sources claim that the film is going to hit the screens on 13th August. Dusky beauty Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this youthful entertainer directed by Bommarillu Baskar. Gopi Sundar’s music has impressed the viewers already and Bunny Vas is producing it.
On the other hand, we have Naga Chaitanya who is also looking to release his ‘Love Story’ on August 7th. Sai Pallavi is the heroine in this movie which was directed by Sekhar Kammula. The songs of this film were already huge hits and everyone is eagerly waiting for it to hit the screens. Sekhar Kammula is on a roll with ‘Fidaa’ and ‘Love Story’ is also a romantic drama which is why the people are expecting some magical moments.
This means that the Akkineni brothers are going to release their films within a week. This may lead to a huge competition as per trade analysts. While Chaitanya is coming after a couple of hits like ‘Majili’ and ‘Venky Mama’, Akhil is hoping that ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ will be his first success. Let us wait and see what happens in August.
Other than these two, there are many films like ‘Tuck Jagadish’, ‘Paagal’, ‘Seetimaarr’ and others which are waiting for the right time to hit the screens. Seems like the movie lovers are in for a huge treat in the next couple of months.
