Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have come together for the first time to star in the film ‘Selfiee’. Directed by Raj Mehta, the shooting of the movie has officially begun today.
Earlier this year, the makers of Selfiee teased the new project with a fun title song. The Dharma Productions, led by Karan Johar, today shared the news that the movie has begun rolling on the banner’s social media handles.
Emraan Hashmi has also shared a selfie and announced the same. The film’s director shared a photo of clapboards with Selfiee written on them placed before a small shrine.
Selfiee is the official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles.
“Selfiee” is produced by Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kumar’s Cape of Good Films along with Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.
