Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Darlings’ is all set to premiere on Netflix this year. Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment & Eternal Sunshine Productions, the movie will mark the RRR actress’ debut as a producer alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies.
The leading digital streaming giant Netflix has announced that the movie will be released on its platform, skipping the theatrical release. The release date is not revealed yet.
Darlings is said to be a dark comedy about a mother-daughter relationship. Shefali Shah will be seen playing Alia Bhatt’s mother in the film whereas Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew also feature in key roles. Directed by Jasmeet K Reen, the movie has Vishal Bharadwaj on board as the music composer.
