ICON star Allu Arjun has teamed up with director Sukumar for an action thriller titled Pushpa. The shoot of this multilingual film has been stalled due to the second wave of Covid-19.
After taking a brief gap with the shooting formalities, the Pushpa team is all set to resume the shoot on July 5.
As per reports, the makers are planning to begin a fresh schedule in Hyderabad. After wrapping up this key schedule, director Sukumar is making arrangements to leave for China or Thailand to shoot a lengthy action sequence.
By now, everyone knows Pushpa will be released in two parts and the first part will hit the screens this year. The actor-director duo will start working on the second part after they complete their previous commitments.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Fahadh Faazil as the antagonist, the film is bankrolled by Y Naveen and Y Ravi Shankar under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. Pushpa will be released in Telugu with plans for a simultaneous release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
