Allu Sirish Confident About ‘Buddy’, Announces Ticket Price Reduction

Hyderabad, August 1, 2024: The pre-release buzz surrounding Allu Sirish’s upcoming action-adventure entertainer, ‘Buddy’, has reached a fever pitch. The film, directed by Sam Anton and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja and Adhana Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green Films, is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 2, 2024.

At the film’s pre-release press meet today, the entire cast and crew expressed unwavering confidence in the project. Allu Sirish revealed that the film has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from audiences of all age groups during its pre-release screenings. However, he expressed concern over the impact of high ticket prices on second-week viewership.

In a gesture of goodwill towards the audience, Sirish announced a significant reduction in ticket prices. After extensive discussions with approximately 200 exhibitors, it was decided to cap ticket rates at ₹99 for single screens and ₹125 for multiplexes. He extended his gratitude to producer Gnanavel Raja for supporting this decision.

Sirish further elaborated on his role in the film, humbly stating that the teddy bear is the true star of ‘Buddy’. He praised the film’s action sequences and overall entertainment quotient, expressing his belief that the film will resonate with audiences across the board.

The film, featuring Gayatri Bharadwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh as the female leads, is anticipated to be a blockbuster. With the reduction in ticket prices and the positive pre-release response, the makers are optimistic about the film’s performance at the box office.
