King Nagarjuna has been suffering from a slump in form over the past few years. His last couple of films like ‘Manmadhudu 2’ and ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ ended up as failures. After a brief gap, Nag came up with an action film like ‘Wild Dog’ which was released on April 2nd. The film is getting a decent response from the audience and critics alike.
The engaging narration has impressed the viewers and Nag’s serious act as ACP Vijay Varma is being lauded by many. Amala Akkineni watched her husband’s film and claimed that she loved it a lot. As a self-claimed fan of Nagarjuna, Amala stated that she loved his new avatar. She wrote, ‘A film that is gripping, moving, powerful, slick & satisfying – watched Wild Dog & loved it! Being a Nagarjuna fan I love this new Avatar too! Wishing the entire team a great success.’
Not just Amala but Nag’s daughter-in-law Samantha also spoke highly about this film. She said, ‘Just watched #WildDog .. it is fantastic…I really have been missing a good action flick .. and I got a Hollywood style, kickass power-packed, emotional, edge of your seat kinda action film .. Just watch it. @iamnagarjuna no one else could have pulled this off.’ A couple of other celebrities too praised the film.
