Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday took part in Green India Challenge. The star actor, who is in Hyderabad for the shooting of Prabhas’ Project-K, has taken some time off and planted saplings in the presence of Nagarjuna Akkineni, producer Ashwin and many others at Ramoji Film City.
Big B appreciated the efforts of Rajya Sabha MP Joginipally Santosh Kumar, who initiated this Green India Challenge and expanding the initiative across the country. He enquired the MP regarding this initiative and expressed his happiness for launching a great cause.
On this occasion, Santosh Kumar presented Amitabh Bachchan with Vruksha Vedam book and told him about its contents.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bacchan is currently shooting for Prabhas upcoming sci-fi film, Project K. Helmed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame, the flick stars Deepika Padukone as the leading lady.
