The Andhra Pradesh government has granted special permissions to the producers and distributors of the upcoming Telugu film, ‘Devara,’ allowing for increased ticket prices and extended show times. This significant move is expected to bolster the film’s box office performance.
Effective September 27, the government authorized 12:00 AM shows and permitted exhibitors to conduct up to six shows per day. Additionally, for a nine-day period starting from September 28, exhibitors were granted permission to hold five shows daily.
The film’s unit has expressed immense gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for these special permissions. The lead actor, Jr. NTR, and his brother, Kalyan Ram, who is presenting the pan-Indian project, have publicly thanked the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Cinematography Minister for their continued support of Telugu cinema.
Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devara’ features Jr. NTR in the lead role alongside Janhvi Kapoor, who makes her Telugu debut, and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. The film’s music is composed by the renowned Anirudh Ravichander.
