The attack incident against YSRCP leader and Andhra Pradesh Information and Transport Minister Perni Nani in his home town Machilipatnam has created a sensation across the state.
Days after the shocking incident, the Krishna district police have now released the visuals recorded by CCTV which was set up at the residence of the Transport Minister.
In the visuals released by the leading Indian web portal, the attacker, identified as B Nageswara Rao, who works as a bricklayer can be seen trying to attack the Minister.
The attack took place on the 29th of November this year. He reached his home town to supervise a memorial ceremony for his mother. His mother passed away recently.
After the attacker tried to attack Perni Nani, his followers and security personnel rushed to the attacker and nabbed him. The attacker was shifted to a local police station by the cops.
The Minister escaped unhurt in the incident. After the incident, he addressed the media and expressed his shock over the incident. He said he doesn’t understand why the attack took place.
