Another Foreign DOP Brought Onboard For ‘Project K’!

Ever since the movie was announced, there were heavy expectations on ‘Project K’. Nag Ashwin who made memorable movies like ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Evade Subramanyam’ decided to make something gigantic this time. As everyone are aware by now, this is a science fiction film based on the concept of time traveling. People are very curious to find out what to expect from this film.

The latest reports suggest that Nag Ashwin who brought Dani Sanchez Lopez with ‘Mahanati’ is bringing another foreign DOP. Grapevine suggests that Djordje Stojilikovic who is from Serbia was brought onboard for ‘Project K’. He gave wonderful visuals for award-winning short films like ‘The Windmill’, ‘The Needle’ and another movie named ‘Pusti me da nadjem srcu lek’.

Earlier, Polish cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba provided the visuals for Nani’s ‘Gang Leader’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’. It looks like Indian filmmakers are looking towards abroad for DOPs nowadays. Apparently, ‘Project K’ is going to be on par with many Hollywood films and the visual tone along with the lighting pattern will remind people of ‘Marvel’ superhero films. A lot of foreign technicians are taken for VFX work too. It looks like Nag Ashwin is literally pushing all the boundaries for his dream project.

The ‘Mahanati’ director is making this project under Ashwini Dutt’s production. The budget is over 500 crores and it has Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Amitabh Bachchan is playing a key role too.
