Malayali beauty, Anupama Parameswaran made her debut into Telugu film industry with ‘A Aa’ and was later seen in films like ‘Premam’, ‘Sathamanam Bhavathi’, ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ etc. She has been very choosy about her films right from the start, but a series of flops dampened her career.
Going into the story, Anupama was seen in 13 films till date and only 3 of them happen to be Malayalam films.
When asked the reason why she acted only in a few Malayalam films, Anupama has an interesting response.
“I made my debut with Premam which was a Malayalam film. Soon after, I played cameo roles in a few Malayali flicks and was very proactive while promoting these films. This is when a few media portals said I was overdoing promotions only to be seen in cameo roles. I took it very personally and decided to act only in female lead roles. That is the reason why I did only a handful of Malayalam films,” she said.
Coming to her Tollywood career, Anupama was last seen in Rakshasudu which released last year. She is yet to sign a straight Telugu film after that.
