It’s a big day for people of Andhra Pradesh as the YSRCP government will in all likely shift the capital. The cabinet has met short while ago and has approved the High-Power committee report. However the government is maintaining extreme secrecy of cabinet meeting and will disclose everything only in Assembly.
But as per media reports, the government has withdrawn the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) and a bill that will be introduced for decentralized development is also approved by the cabinet.
The cabinet also nodded for High Court in Kurnool and a package for Amaravati farmers who have offered their land for capital.
Meanwhile the police have made tight security arrangements at Assembly surroundings. Many TDP leaders are detained in advance and only elected leaders of both the parties are being allowed in the Assembly roads.
