AP CM helped a doctor in paying his Corona medical bill of Rs. 1.5 crore

N. Bhaskara Rao, PHC Medical Officer from Srikakulam District was recently admitted to the hospital with a corona infection while serving as the PHC Medical Office. Doctors who decided to transplant his lungs said it would cost more than Rs 1.50 crore. Due to a lack of funds, Dr. Bhaskara Rao’s family members approached Minister Balineni Srinivasareddy. Minister Balineni brought the matter to the attention of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Responding to this, Chief Minister Jagan directed the concerned authorities to immediately pay Rs 1 crore for his medical expenses and arrange for another Rs 50 lakh.

Dr. N. Bhaskara Rao, who is a District PHC Medical Officer, from Prakasam District, conducted covid-19 diagnostic tests on about 6,000 people.
