Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the residence of veteran Telugu actress and director Vijaya Nirmala in Nanakramguda. Vijaya Nirmala passed away in the early hours of Thursday.
The YSRCP chief paid his last respects to the departed soul by offering floral tributes to her mortal remains.
He also offered his deepfelt condolences to Vijaya Nirmala’s son Naresh and others present at the house.
Expressing shock over the sudden demise of Vijaya Nirmala, YS Jagan had said that her death had left a void in the film industry.
YS Jagan also recalled that Vijaya Nirmala was the only female director to hold Guinness Record for directing most number of movies in Telugu.
YS Jagan also offered words of solace to veteran actor Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala’s husband who’s in deep shock over her demise.
