Chandrababu received Transformative Chief Minister Award, from US-India Business Coucil, a body headed by giants in Information Technology (IT). He was presented with the award amidst applause from businessmen representing several IT companies in the States. Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu thanked the audience for their support. Cisco Executive Chairman John Chambers said that it is very difficult to seek sponsors for state projects, a task which Chandrababu took up successfully, with great aplomb. Earlier, the AP CM had got many companies to a ccept his invitation to AP.
