AP Minister Acham Naidu fires on Transport Officers over Yerpedu Accident. He questioned the functioning of private organisations hired by govt in this regard. He gave directions to transport officers to keep a check on transports whether the drivers are drunk or they have licence or not. He ordered transport and police departments to have a sudden check of transport vehicles on roads for one day every week to check every driver for lacunas. He also ordered them to go to training centres every month to know about the drivers. He said action will be taken on owners if they don’t follow the rules.
