Jani Master, who has worked with top heroes such as Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Thalapathy Vijay and others, is now headlining a film as a hero. ‘Runner’ is the title of his first movie as the hero.
Vijay Chowdhary is its helmer. Announcing the project today, a first-look poster was put out by Vijaya Damaruka Arts. “We are happy with the pre-production works. The plan is to start the shoot on July 20 in Hyderabad,” producers Vijaya Bhaskar and others said.
Touted to be a promising cop thriller with a clash of ideologies and a father-son drama at the centre, ‘Runner’ has music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by PG Vinda. Other details pertaining to the action drama will be out soon.
The first-look poster suggests that the Khaki uniform and the Khaddar represent two different world views.
Jani Master was conferred with the Nandi Award for the song ‘Mee Intiki Mundhu’ ‘Julayi’. ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Naayak’, ‘Racha’, ‘Beast, ‘Temper’ and other films are among his famous outings. ‘Rowdy Baby’ song from the Tamil movie ‘Maari 2’ was choreographed by the talented dance master.
