Director Gopichand Malineni is clarifying time and again that his latest film ‘Krack’ that features Raviteja and Shruti Haasan in the leads, is neither a remake of ‘Theri’ movie or it is a freemake of ‘Sethupathi’ movie. But then, he has confirmed that the film is based on some true incidents.
As the director gave enough clues that the protagonist will be seen as a police officer in the movie, here comes a snippet about the story. Did you remember former Kadiri Circle Inspector Gorantla Madhav? Yes, he is the one who has warned politician JC Diwakar Reddy regarding his ill-talk about the police. Later Madhav resigned as CI, joined YSR Congress party and now he got elected as MP from the party ticket.
We’re hearing that Krack is loosely based on how this CI has given up his khaki uniform and later joined politics to become an MP. While this is the main theme, the usual comedy, songs, glamour and other elements will be woven around it, says a source.
