We already reported that Sensational actor Vijay Deverakonda will be teaming up with director Puri Jagannadh again after the completion of their ongoing project ‘Liger’. As per a source, the actor-director duo will work on Puri’s long-delayed script, Jana Gana Mana, which he wrote for Mahesh Babu.
Now, the latest buzz is that Puri Jagannadh is planning to rope in double Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman for the project and has apparently initiated talks with him. However, there’s still no official confirmation about whether Rahman has accepted Puri’s offer. It is heard that Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor is playing the leading lady in the movie.
Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning music director is currently composing music for Ayalaan, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. He also has Vikram’s Cobra and Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited Ponniyin Selvan: I in his kitty.
