Members of Film families venturing into films is not a new thing and we have seen this many times. Changing the trend people from the political arena are also proving themselves in the entertainment world. MP Galla Jayadev’s son Ashok Galla made a Tollywood debut with Hero and earned a good response.
After a promising debut, he announced his second venture, and the project was launched today at the Ramanaidu studios. The likes of Boyapati Srinu, Victory Venkatesh, Prashanth Varma, and Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar graced the occasion.
Young writer-director Prashanth Varma has written the story for the upcoming film. It is known that Varma is busy with his upcoming Pan-India film Hanuman, which is said to be the first Superhero film from India.
Taking a cue from Marvel’s MCU, the directors are linking the characters of their films and creating a Universe. Now what we hear from the grapevine is that Ashok Galla’s next might get linked with Hanu-Man. Following this, the upcoming film might have a Mythological touch as per the information.
Usually, actors try Mythological films and films that have a Mythological tough after doing at least a dozen films. But it appears that Ashok Galla is confident about the film and wants to go for the film. Media reports say that the upcoming film might have a Mythological and it might be close to Hanu-Man.
The upcoming film will be helmed by Arjun Jandhyala who earlier directed Guna 369. It has a story from Prashanth Varma and the happening dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra will take care of the dialogues. He is on a roll with magnum opus RRR and Veera Simha Reddy. Sai Madhav is also associated with Shankuntalam.
Somineni Balakrishna will bankroll the upcoming film under his Lalithambika Productions banner. A team of noted technicians will work on the film. Bheems Cecirole will score music for the film and Prasad Murella is roped in as the Cinematography. Tammiraju is the editor of the film.
The makers will announce the details of the cast and other crew of the film. Ashok Galla’s second film might hit the floors soon for shooting.
