The Hindi remake of Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo is almost confirmed. According to reports emerging from Bollywood, the film’s Hindi remake rights have been sold to noted Bollywood producers and the deal said to have fetched a fancy amount to AVPL producers.
Buzz is that AVPL’s Hindi remake rights are sold for over Rs 8 Crore. None other than one of the producers of Kabir Singh Ashwin Varde has bought the rights. Ashwin reportedly watched the film and liked it immensely. He is now planning to go rope in bigger cast from Bollywood to play the lead roles originally essayed by Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The Hindi version is likely to be made on a bigger scale and larger canvas. An official confirmation regarding the Hindi remake of AVPL is still awaited.
Already, the film’s producers Geetha Arts, Haarika & Hassine Creations and distributor Dil Raju has made a huge fortune with the Telugu version. The film claimed to have become Non-Baahubali hit. In the US, the film went onto become the third highest grossing Telugu movie standing next only to Baahubali 2 and Baahubali 1.
