It appears like there is no end to the movie tickets price controversy. We know a delegation of film personalities led by Megastar Chiranjeevi met CM YS Jagan to discuss ticket prices, additional shows, as well as various other issues. However, there were various discussions about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s absence at the meeting.
Minister Perni Nani has recently made interesting comments about Balakrishna and described an incident that took place before the release of Akhanda.
While speaking to Media today, Nani said that the Akhanda movie team contacted him with the help of Nuzividu MLA. The day before the release of the movie, the filmmakers came to Vijayawada R&B Guest House and met the Cinematography Minister. Balakrishna also spoke to Nani on the phone and the latter sought Chief Minister’s appointment to discuss the tickets price issue.
When Nani told the CM about Hindupur MLA’s request for an appointment, Jagan said that Balayya would be in trouble if the meeting happen. The CM suggested Nani do what Balayya asked for.
Reacting to reports that Balakrishna doesn’t want to meet Jagan, Nani said that everything he said is literally true and that he is ready to apologise if the Akhanda team denied his statements.
