At a time when a biopic is being planned on Mahanati Savithri, why not a biopic on Senior NTR? The legendary actor’s life story could be make into one epic biopic given it has seen the heights of both film industry and politics. But, the question is who could dare to fill in the shoes of the inimitable NTR?
It seems that Balayya has taken this challenge upon himself. During a recent media meet in Nimmarkuru, Balayya said that he would soon make a film on NTR. He however didn’t disclose if he would play the role of his father or not.
If he did not then do we have any other actor to match the screen presence of the Telugu film legend, probably not. It may be recalled that Mani Ratnam cast ‘Complete Actor’ Mohanlal when he made the alleged biopic on MGR, a Tamil legend having as much charisma in films and politics as of NTR.
Ideally speaking, NTR Jr is the perfect choice to reprise the role of Sr NTR in the biopic. However, given the alleged animosity between Balayya and NTR, would these two come together for a make? Well, this is is the one film that their fans would love them to collaborate on. How about NTR Jr for the younger version and Balayya for the older version of NTR?
Anyhow, it would surely be an epic film and Telugu movie lovers across the world would love to see the story of arguably the ‘Most Popular Telugu Personality’ on silver screen.
