“Andhra Pradesh had netted Rs 22,000 cr investments in the past 9 months” is one the latest news from Andhra Pradesh government.
Andhra Pradesh government industries secretary Rajat Bhargava had explained how this investment flow was seen in the State in the last nine months of the YSR Congress regime.
In addition to this, discussions are in various stages for investment mobilization of Rs 30,000 crore. This might take a couple of months and by the turn of the completion of one year and celebration of first anniversary of the government in June this year, the investments might cross Rs 50,000 crore.
But this not known to the people of the state. The investment flow to the State is not given priority by the media which is against the ruling party and which backs the opposition TDP with a firm tone.
The same media used to highlight every signature of MoU by the previous government and had dedicated itself in promoting TDP’s efforts for investment mobilization, which never materialized beyond the MoUs.
The media gives negative news to the people to please and benefit the TDP rather than promote the State.
The media, like the political parties, has political agenda against the YSR Congress, particularly against Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The agenda against Jagan Mohan Reddy is only because he had ruined the fortunes of the Kamma community in general and the TDP leadership in particular.
Naidu saw a potential enemy in Jagan Mohan Reddy to his son Lokesh several years ago and started a campaign against.
As anticipated and despite the negative campaign and legal hurdles created, Jagan Mohan Reddy rose to become the chief minister crushing the TDP to a humiliating defeat.
The TDP ranks, the Kamma community and its investors, besides its sympathizers, believe that there would be no future for them and Lokesh if Jagan Mohan Reddy is not cut to the size now. It is with this agenda, the media is working against him and working against the State.
However, people did not buy their lies, as was evident in the 2019 elections, and it is to be seen if they would continue to ignore this biased media in the years to come.
