Bigg Boss Telugu 5: All you need to know about Sreerama Chandra

Sreerama Chandra Mynampati is a noted playback singer is currently taking part in the ongoing season of Telugu Bigg Boss.

The talented singer won the Indian Idol 5 title and he won a whole lot of appreciation and applause for crooning the widely popular ‘Gelupu Thalupule’ from Teenmar.

Sreeram was born in the town of Addanki in Prakasham district, Andhra Pradesh. He comes from a non-music background. His father is an advocate at the high court and his mother is a homemaker.

He was interested in signing right from an early age and he followed his passion to now emerge as one of the elite singers in Telugu cinema.

Sreeram did his schooling at St. Andrews School, Bowenpally, Secunderabad. He then learnt music at Sri Bhakta Ramadasu Govt. College Of Music And Dance, Secunderabad. He also trained under Bhaskara Haripriya, a renowned sister duo based in Hyderabad.

Following his stint in Telugu singing show, Sye, he was spotted by Mickey J Meyer and that is how he landed his maiden film opportunity as he crooned “Chirugalithone Adiga” from the film Notebook.

Sreerama then turned busy in Bollywood as he crooned songs like “Balma”(Khiladi 786), “Subhanallah” (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani), and “Madhubala”. He crooned as many as 2000 songs in 7 languages till now. In the meanwhile, he has also acted in films like Prema Geema Jaanta Nai and Sri Jagadguru Aadi Sankara.

Sreerama Chandra is one of the few popular faces in the Bigg Boss house now. It remains to be seen if he will go on to win the title this time around.
