We are not talking about Mahesh Babu here but the superstar Rajnikanth himself. The 70-year-old hero is still going strong and is making the fans go crazy in theatres. Despite the average talk, most of his movies like ‘Petta’, ‘Darbar’ and ‘Annatthe’ did great business just because of Rajni’s craze.
He is currently working on ‘Jailer’ under Nelson’s direction. After that, sources say that he will be directed by a Telugu filmmaker. It is not a star director with a huge background but a young director who made an impressive debut with ‘Bimbisara’. Vassisht is currently focusing on finishing the script of ‘Bimbisara 2’ but the filmmaker recently narrated a storyline for Rajnikanth and ‘Thalaivaa’ reportedly liked it.
The project may not start anytime soon as Rajni has two movies in hand at the moment. Also, Vassisht needs to complete ‘Bimbisara 2’ before moving on to his next project. It is to be seen when Vassisht’s movie with Rajnikanth gets announced officially.
‘Bimbisara’ is the first hit of Kalyan Ram since ‘Petta’. For his 21st film, he joined hands with talented director Naveen Medaram under the production of Abhishek Nama’s ‘Abhishek Pictures’. The movie is named ‘Devil’ and Kalyan Ram will be seen as a British Secret Agent in this movie. Srikanth Vissa who worked on ‘Pushpa’ has penned the story of ‘Devil’ and Harshavardhan Rameshwar gave a solid background score.
