If we observe the latest developments in the Andhra Pradesh politics, the BJP is trying to evolve as an alternative force for the AP people by making the YSRCP cadre fumble on its own feet. The BJP has a voice and a strong base in the form of their alliance party Janasena and now Modi has started his game plan against Jagan.
For the past few days, the BJP leaders started to criticize YS Jagan and his government in a destructive way and those efforts are being continued by their other leaders. This is all about BJP Rajya Sabha MP G V L Narasimha Rao, who took a swipe at major political figures of Andhra Pradesh to establish a major point in the favour of BJP.
He said that none of the former Chief Ministers of the state NTR, YSR, Chandrababu Naidu and even Jagan Mohan Reddy can be exemplified as the great leaders. He pointed out that these are all dynasty families that are ruling and ruining the state. He said that the only progress made in the state is the replacement of Chandranna Schemes with Rajanna schemes.
Along with these strong comments from GVL, Central Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman criticized Jagan and his government which surprised the AP political circles. She asked how could AP government charge Rs.9 per unit when the center is offering the electricity for 2rupees and 70Paise.
She even pointed out the way Jagan conducted review meetings on the agreements that were done on the electricity previously by the center and asked him to respect the agreements that were made internationally. So, it is quite clear that BJP has decided to take on the AP CM Jagan to show the hollowness in his rule which is being masked by some freebies which eventually do no good for the AP, as the analysts opine.
